Michael Marks, Culteral Arts Co-ordinator for the City of Santa Clarita proposed
that we provide the Station for the MSMC Da Camera Society's "Chamber Music at
Historical Sites" series to be sceduled sometime next spring. They would like
to hold ah afternoon concert at the Station and then conclude thier program
0 at Mentryville. It will be a ticketed event at no cost to the Society.
M/S/P that we support his proposal and help to co-ordinate the event at the
Station.
Kevin O'Neil, a local "train buff" has arranged for the purchase of 2 gas
mechanical engines and 3 flat cars and proposed to place them with the Society
· on pennanent loan for use in conjllllction with our steam engine, to generate
income. Paul checked with Kurt Jacobson and was advised that the insurance
for liability and to protect the investment would be minimal. Our initial
cost would just be layingdf the tracks which could progress as fllllds became
available. M/S/P that we accept the peranent loan of these 2 engines and 3
flatcars for the "Heritage Jllllction Railraod".

they are planning to contact the entire membership to ask each person to provide
