        The  Cougars  had  another  tight
      game this week when the explosive
      Ventura  Pirates  defeated  a  dis-
      appointed  COC  team 24-15,  Satur-
      day  night  at  Ventura.  Players  on
      both  teams  were ready and  deter-
      mined  to  win  this  big  game.  The
      importance  of  a  victory  may  have
      precipitated_ the  unsportsman-
      like  conduct  and  fights,  which
      forced a premature end to the game.
