"Butch" Hampton whose mother, Margaret "Maggie" Hampton, owned the popular Snack Shack at 24325 San Fernando Road (aka 727 Spruce Street). Bruce writes: "Volunteer Linemen from Pac Bell and SCE (Southern California Edison) would gather at the Snack Shack in the early morning hours as a staging area for the erection of the light pole-hung decorations and audio system."
