Actor and Lake Hughes resident Paul Koslo is in handcuffs in this scene from the 1974 Walter Mirisch production of "Mr. Majestyk," starring Charles Bronson in the title role. 8x10-inch publicity photo.

A year after the film's U.S. release (United Artists, July 17, 1974), Koslo purchased The Rock Inn in Lake Hughes, which he owned until his death in January 2019.

Koslo portrays Bobby Kopas, a small-time hood who attempts to force a Colorado watermelon farmer (Bronson as Vince Majestyk) into a protection racket by hiring his no-good friends as ranch hands. Majestyk manages to run him off with his own shotgun, but that's just the beginning of the story.

Filmed in Colorado in the fall of 1973, "Mr. Majestyk" also features Al Lettieri, Linda Cristal, Lee Purcell, Taylor Lacher, Frank Maxwell, Alejandro Rey, Jordan Rhodes and Bert Santos. Uncredited cast includes Howard Beasley, Ken Bell, Larry Cortinas, Richard Erdman, Bus Gindhart, Tom Hickman, Alma Lawrentz, Bill Morris, Allen Pinson, Vern Porter, Luis Ramírez, Maxwell Reed, Eddie Reyes, James Reynolds and Bob Templeton. Stunt performers are Paul Baxley (coordinator), Paul Baxley (gaffer), Craig R. Baxley (driver), Terry Leonard, Allen Pinson and Dick Warlock.
