Unattributed portrait of author Helen Hunt Jackson, used as frontispiece in Little, Brown & Co.'s 1909 "Pasadena Edition" of Jackson's 1884 novel, "Ramona," which she loosely based on an earlier visit to the Del Valle family's Rancho Camulos along the road from Saugus to Ventura.
