At the original Canyon Country Little League off of Soledad Canyon Road."
The original Canyon Country Little League played its first home opener (as Mint Canyon Babe Ruth Little League) on April 23, 1966, at 19004 Soledad Canyon Road, corner Crossglade Avenue.
As the leased property was to be developed, in 1976 the league bought land at the north end of Solamint Road (18223 Solamint),
off of Soledad Canyon Road, and played its first home opener at the new location April 17, 1976. A little over a dedcade later,
the two ball diamonds were replaced by the Diamond Park Apartments (27940 Solamint Road), which were built in 1989
by G.H. Palmer Associates. The league moved to 16054 Sierra Highway in Mint Canyon. (Research: Tricia Lemon Putnam.)
