· County of Los Angeles as a part of the State Park System,
and making an appropriation.
The people of the State of California do enact as follows:

SECTlON 1. T.rutStat..e. P.ru:k . .O.o,mp1._i§§.ion is hereby author-
ized 'and dir.etited -to-·enter into negotiations for, and is hereby
authorized to acquire by' purchase or by eminent domain, a site
in Placeritos Canyon in the County of Los Angeles, near N~w-
hall, for a state park to be a part of the State Park System.
SEC. 2. There is hereby· appropriated out of the State
Park Fund the sum of fifteen thousand dollars ($15,000) to be
expended during the Ninety-ninth and One Hundredth Fiscal
Years to carry out the provisions of this act.
SEC. 3. No portion of this appropriation shall be expended
unless moneys equal to or in excess of the amount to be

been made availaole (oy' any person, corporation, political sub-
division, public district or public agency other than the State)
for expenditure by the State for that purpose, to the end that
any sums expended from tliis appropriation shall be matched by
like or greater amounts from sources other than the State .
