Location of Santa Clarita Water Division
Santa Clarita Water Division is located in the Santa Clarita Valley, which is in the northwestern
portion of Los Angeles County approximately 35 miles from downtown Los Angeles. The Santa
Clarita Valley is approximately 485 square miles and cradles the headwater of the Santa Clara
River. It is surrounded by the San Gabriel Mountains, the Santa Susana Mountains and the
Sierra Pelona Mountains.
