Outing to Elizabeth Lake
Lake Communities

A series of five 3½x5-inch photographs documents a family or group outing to Elizabeth Lake in the 1910s or early 1920s.

The photos are sourced to an A.L. Stetson, who apparently shot most of them.

The inscription on the back of the top photo (above) reads: "Elizabeth Lake / A.L. Stetson's Cole Car."

The Cole Motor Car Co. of Indianapolis made luxury cars from 1909 to 1925. This appears to be about a 1911-1913 model touring car.
