Special Olympics to have two Santa Clarita athletes in USA Games

28 year-old Blaine palmer and 18 year-old Keegan Clark are members of the Santa Clarita chapter’s Track team for the Olympics, and have just been invited to the USA Games in New Jersey this summer. The invitation also is a preparation for the International games to be held in 2015 in the greater Los Angeles area. CJ Schmid has more.

Friday Night Lights – Valencia Rolls, Hart Breaks!

Valencia jumped out to a 28-7 first quarter lead and went on to trounce Notre Dame 49 to 32. Hart could not overcome six turnovers in a blowout loss to Palmdale, and Golden Valley’s failed two point conversion late in the game was the difference as the Grizzlies lose to Royal of Simi Valley 20-19.

Centurions Catch First Break of Season

Saugus High Centurions relentless efforts paid off Friday evening as their Varsity football team challenged the Burroughs High Indians in its first season game rival. The Centurions came out on top by a neck-in-neck win of 26-20, despite their previous season record of 3 wins and 7 losses.
