WHEREAS: Betty Burke, Louis (Ted) Lamkin, Eva Mitchell, Tony Newhall, Betty Houghton Pember, Jean Perkins, Richard A. White, Connie Worden and Jessie Wyatt were the initial Directors of the Friends of Hart Park, and

WHEREAS: These Directors have given much of themselves, their time, their talents and their resources, both individually and in concert, and

WHEREAS: The efforts of these Directors did result in the founding of the Friends of Hart Park, and

WHEREAS: These foundations have provided the solid framework on which to build a lasting, productive organization for the betterment of William S. Hart Park, therefore be it

RESOLVED: That these Nine Individuals be now and forevermore, individually and collectively known as "FOUNDERS" and it be further resolved that these FOUNDERS shall be extended all the rights and priviliges of HONORARY membership for the life of the Corporation and be it further resolved that a copy of this Resolution be forwarded to these Nine Founders along with such appropriate mementoes as deemed appropriate.
