Steven George Wheatley of Santa Clarita, Calif., passed away peacefully on Thursday March 21, 2019. He was born on August 8, 1942, in Glendale, Calif. He graduated from San Fernando High School in 1960. His employment included warehouse worker and Champs Candy delivery. His passion was the automotive profession where he had his own wrecking yard business and a car lot. Many years later he retired from the DMV. He attended and was a member of The Sanctuary Church. In the past he also actively attended First Christian Church. He is survived by his wife Trudi Wheatley, brother Chuck (Judy) Wheatley, son Scott (Mary) Wheatley, daughter Debi (Will) Miller, son Wayne Wheatley, stepson Mike (Jen) Roeder, stepdaughter Ann. Grandchildren: Will, Nicole, Phillip, Nicolas, Timothy, Christopher and Vance. Great-grandchildren: Catie, Donovan, RaeLynn and Bradley, with four more on the way by August.
