Lucy Alverdi 92, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, June 12, 2014, Following a brief illness. Lucy was born December 27, 1921. She is survived by her son Raymond (Alice), Grandchildren Paul, Robert, Steven (Cheryl) Richard (Erica) Vincent (Rosie) Tina (Ken). Great grandchildren Brittany (Hunter), Chris, Allison, Katelyn, Brianna, Nathan, Ethan. Great Great Granddaughter Charlie Ann. Step Great Grandchildren Taylor, Jacob, Joshua. Stepson Max, Daughter-in-law Yvonne. Cousins Margaret Perez and Josiphine Alcantar.
She is preceded by her Husband Reymundo, Son Charles, Daughter Hilda, Parents Vicente and Francesca Rodriguez, Brothers Epifano, Jesus and Tony.
She retired from the Fillmore-Piru Citrus Association after working there for 55 years. She loved to watch the Dodgers and her soap operas.
Her Family would like to Thank Lucille Ponce and Maria Gomez her caregivers. Also to Livingston Memorial Association Hospice.
Viewing and Rosary will be held at San Salvador Mission Church Center Street, Piru on Friday, June 20, 2014 at 9:30 a.m., followed by Funeral Mass. Burial will follow at Piru Cemetery, Piru.
