Barbara Sue LaRue
Barbara Sue LaRue, who lived in Castaic and was a resident of the Santa Clarita for 45 years, passed away suddenly on January 2, 2014, in Westwood, CA at age 75. She was born October 9, 1938 in Blanchard, Okla. Barbara did clerical work for Regency Publications for many years but her most important job was being a mom to Scott, Greg and Kathy. She was also a member of WoLAPO, Wives of L.A. Police Officers. She leaves to cherish her memory: her husband, Ron LaRue of Castaic; their son, Scott (Theresa) LaRue and their children, Aaron, Garrett, Blayke and Faythe LaRue of Castaic; their son, Greg LaRue and his children, Lash and Cole LaRue of Canyon Country and their daughter, Kathy (Sean)McCune and their children Ethan and Brooke. Barbara was beautiful on the inside and out. She always put her family first. She loved her computer, reading, shopping and taking pictures. Barbara loved watching American Idol and the Voice. She always voted for her favorites. She loved her life and lived each day with no complaint. A viewing will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2014, at noon, with a service to follow at 2 p.m. at Eternal Valley Mortuary, Chapel of the Hills, 23287 Sierra Highway Newhall, Ca. 91321. Barbara was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She will be missed by everyone who knew her.
