Pit pass from midget races at Bonelli Stadium, later renamed Saugus Speedway, Sunday, November 25, 1945.

Billy Vukovich of Fresno won the 75-lap main event as well as the 3-lap trophy dash. Behind him were Danny Oakes of Los Angeles in 2nd and Russ Fields, also of L.A., in 3rd.

So many spectators attended the event, no doubt to see one of the big stars of the auto racing circuit (Vukovich), that afterward, three lanes of southbound traffic jammed Sierra Highway clear to the LADWP cascades at Sylmar, and on the east to Solemint Junction.
