Yes, those were the days. Days
filled with fun and laughter, ex-
citement, hard work, disappoint-
ments, and tears. They were days
which brought many "firsts" to
Canyon High.
Our first Homecoming was a
complete success. Kindled by the
district's first bonfire rally, school
spirit and enthusiasm soared. Sus-
pense enthralled the student body
up to the moment that lovely
Carrie Brumfield was crowned the
first Homecoming queen. She
reigned victoriously as the Canyon
Cowboys conquered the Hart High
Indians 16 to 8-another Canyon
first.
