Every Wednesday night, a culinary anomaly shows up at the corner of Main Street and 9th Street in Newhall.
The Kogi Truck spices up the Santa Clarita nightlife by drawing together people of all ages, and providing them with a unique Korean Mexican meal.
The truck arrives at 9:30pm and leaves at 11:00pm. Guests can choose from a variety of unusual items, such as “short rib tacos” or a “black jack quesadilla.” The truck even features seafood and desserts.
The mobile restaurant is only there for a short period of time, but the irreplaceable flavors and friendly company make it worth a stop. The truck has drawn quite a few regulars, many of which whom have become friends.
“It is a beautiful and unexpected combination of Korean and Mexican food,” frequent Kogi truck attendee Peter McHaddad said. “It’s fantastic, you don’t find it anywhere else.”
