Downtown Newhall shined brightly at the Light Up Main Street event earlier this year, with festivities including live performances, food trucks, and vendors from around the community.
Children also enjoyed the holiday festivities by taking pictures with Santa and Mrs. Claus, feeding reindeer, and playing in the snow.
“I think it’s awesome,” Jill Rodriguez said. “I think it’s a great idea to get the community together and start off the holidays! Especially with everything going on in the world, I think it’s a great thing.”
“It’s great! A lot of food, a lot of people,” Victor Rodriguez said. “They have a lot of stuff for the kids to do.”
It got even more crowded at the end of the night when the Downtown Newhall Tree was lighted at the end of Main Street in front of Old Town Newhall Library and the crowd cheered.
“I can’t wait to come back next year!” Jill Rodriguez said.
