A tow truck was stuck on the upper field staff lot on College of the Canyons Valencia campus after an employee called to be towed out of the mud.
The rain has already caused many cars to hydroplane while entering and exiting this lot.
Around 4:00 p.m. 13 staff cars were stuck in the lot located between lots 5 and 6.
The field had been turned into a new staff lot due to the new parking lot construction happening in lot 7.
A second tow truck arrived to pull the first tow truck out of the mud as the rain continued to flood the lot.
Three cars were able to exit with help of the tow truck driver who guided them to avoid the muddy areas.
The rain is suppose to continue throughout the evening, leaving many staff vehicles in danger of getting stuck.
