College of the Canyons held its annual job fair last Friday with plenty of vendors to help job seekers become employed.
The job fair had an array of companies which included Chickfila, Lyft, JCPenny and much more.
Plenty of students from College of the Canyons and local high schools were in attendance.
“For a 16-year-old it’s mostly the pizza places. That’s mostly where I believe teenagers go to get jobs,” Hart High School student Rogelio Murrillo stated.
While plenty of young jobs seekers were doing their best to land employment, other older jobs seekers were looking to get back into the field.
Job seeker Richard Tarlow has a long list of past jobs including practicing law for the greater part of 20 years.
“I have too much time on my hands. It is time to get back to work again […] and so I recognize this is a good opportunity,” Tarlow stated.
The fair also included a virtual job fair which was hosted by KHTS AM 1220 and résumé workshop.
