College of the Canyons is set to debut a new MakerSpace to the public.
The grand opening will take place on Thursday, May 12 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the College of the Canyons Valencia Campus student center.
The event is free to the public and people of all ages are invited to participate.
MakerSpace is a special creative space where community, education and creativity will all come together providing the resources and training to inspire creativity. At the grand opening, people will have the opportunity to experience hands-on tutorials of the program, which may include learning to weld something or taking a tour of the space.
