HARD announced the lineup Tuesday for its annual HARD Summer music festival and has already gathered a lot of anticipation from local fans after seeing the reveal. The two-day event has a wide range of artists billed to perform spanning multiple genres, and fans can’t get enough of it.

Acts such as Dillon Francis, Porter Robinson and Zeds Dead return following performances from past years and are joined by many other artists including newcomers such as Travi$ Scott, Anderson .Paak and former N.W.A. star Ice Cube.

“I’m very excited for this event,” said fan Jonathan Marques. “The wide range of EDM sub-genres mixed with a lot of good rap music has got me very interested in going this year.”

HARD also announced a new camping aspect of the festival available to attendees this year that has left some skeptical of the idea. Fan Zach Blake is not so sure about camping in the summer time.

“I’m stoked to see what Porter (Robinson) has up his sleeve this year but I won’t be camping in the heat, that’s for sure,” Blake said.

HARD Summer fan Hunter Acheronti has strong feelings against the idea of camping as well.

“I’d rather cut off my arm then camp in that heat. The lineup is great though, so I can’t wait to go this year.”

HARD has been a staple in the Los Angeles music scene since it’s first music festival on Dec. 31, 2007. The promotion is best known for it’s HARD Summer and HARD Day of the Dead festivals, which take place in Los Angeles each year.

HARD also announced Tuesday that the event will be changing venues from the Pomona Fairplex to the Auto Club Speedway this year.

HARD released a YouTube video with cameos from some of the acts performing this year. For more information about the festival and when tickets will be available head to the HARDfest website.
