Sheriffs officials said Old Orchard Elementary, Newhall Elementary, Sierra Vista Junior High, and Hart High School were all robbed.

Detectives are seeking public assistance to capture two suspects, one of whom was caught on surveillance video at William S. Hart High School.

Items stolen include, laptop computers, a television, and  other items that sheriffs officials said may cost each school $10,000.

Sierra Vista Junior High School appeared to be hit the hardest. Thieves snatched 10 computers, a flat screen television, and other unidentified items.

The sheriff’s department said they have “extra directed patrols” at and near schools, and that at least one suspect looked to be perhaps 18 to 21 years old, and a possible  former student of Hart High School.
