Santa Clarita firefighters quickly put out a small brush fire that burned along Soledad Canyon Road. The fire was declared a “knockdown” by 12:30 p.m.
The fire began shortly after noon and burned about a quarter acre. The LA County Fire Department responded with a full crew and at least one water-dropping helicopter The Signal reported.
Friday’s fire at Soledad Canyon Road was at the same location as a fire that started Thursday that prompted two school evacuations and injured a firefighter.
