On Wednesday, College of the Canyons’ ASG hosted a Meet N’ Greet event where local politicians were present to raise interest in politics among college students and also register students who are still unregistered voters.

Among those who attended were Jim Gray for Vice President (L), Lee Rogers for Congress (D), Ron Smith for CA Assembly District 36 (R), Steve Fox for CA Assembly District 36 (D), Edward Headington for CA Assembly District 38 (D), Jackie Lacey for LA District Attorney, campaign representatives for Buck McKeon for Congress (R) and Todd Zink for CA Senate District 27 (R).

Many students took advantage of this event as they passed by for classes.

Several students stuck around to listen to what the candidates had to say.
