The Oscar Mayer Wienermobile visited an Albertsons grocery store in Saugus on Wednesday. The 27-foot hot dog shaped truck drew area residents to the Wienermobile in the Albertson’s parking lot during its 100 city tour.
Abraham Luna, a “hot dogger,” drives the truck with his partner Cookout Kelly, who was excited to visit with area residents.
“We’re just at Albertson’s hanging out,” Luna said. “We’re handing out the famous Oscar Mayer Wiener whistles and coupons for hot dogs, cold cuts and bacon.”
Abraham Luna and Cookout Kelly, both known as hot doggers, showed Santa Clarita residents what the inside of an Oscar Mayer Wienermobile looked like.
Jonah Tunget, a student at Saugus High School was in awe of the hot dog truck.
“It was kind of surreal,” Tunget said. “I’ve never seen one in real life.”
Luna closed the day with the famous Oscar Mayer Wiener song.
