Betty White ventures into a new world, the world of Twitter

The adorable Betty White has joined the Twitter phenomenon by sharing her first tweet with her fans Tuesday.

After just three tweets, the 90-year-old actress has already gained more than 150,000 followers. Her first tweets consist of a witty hello, followed by promoting her new TV series.

White’s most recent tweet reminds us of why fans have fallen in love with her. She tweeted, “hey @RyanSeacrest – my new show airs tomorrow and I hear we’re in the same time slot. I’ve always dreamed of sharing a night with you…” And who hasn’t dreamed of a night with the “Golden Girl.”

White’s new TV series “Betty White’s Off Their Rockers” premieres tonight at 8 p.m. on NBC.
