Daycation: Truckit Fest Comes to Union Station

Sunday March 6th hop on the Metrolink and spend a great day of food trucks, art and music at Downtown’s Union Station.

The first in a series of Food Truck, Art and Music festivals comes to Union Station. Truckit Fest will become an ongoing event the first Sunday of each month and it looks to be a great way to enjoy the sites and sounds of the historic Union Station.

The event itself costs $5 for entrance and runs the first Sunday of each month from 11am to 5pm. If you are looking for the VIP experience you can pay $45 and gain early entrance at 10 am, pre-paid parking and table side service from the various food trucks in a VIP exclusive area. The event itself is also about local artists and musicians with over 200 in attendance exhibiting and performing.

Union Station is located on Alameda St. across from the famous Olvera Street area. From Santa Clarita you can take the 5 South to the 170/101 and exit at Alameda, follow the signs to Union Station. Parking is located all over the area and within close walking distance of the event. If you are looking for more adventure take the train. Another option to get into the area is the Metro Redline from North Hollywood. Parking is free at the Redline Station off Lankershim and Chandler Blvd. For more Information visit
