Santa Clarita Councilman Frank Ferry remains in critical condition after complications from surgery to remove a cyst from his pancreas on November 30.
He is currently in the Intensive Care Unit at Providence Holy Cross Medical Center in Mission Hills. He was readmitted Friday after toxins from the cyst entered leading to an infection of the kidneys.
The 45-year-old is also the principal at Bishop Alemany High School in Mission Hills where his son, Jake, plays football. His son Nick has returned home from Massachusetts, where he attends Springfield College, to join the rest of Ferry’s family at his bedside.
Ferry, who has been a council member since 1998, was re-elected this past April by narrowly defeating candidate David Gauny.
