The College of the Canyons Fall 2010 Job and Career Fair will be held Saturday, October 9, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., at the Santa Clarita Activities Center located at 20880 Centre Point Parkway, Santa Clarita.
The fair, which is held in connection with the SCV Community Expo, is free and open to the public. It will offer entry, middle and upper level opportunities, along with paid internships to job seekers.
Representatives from many different companies including ABC Processing, Antelope Valley Hospital, Aerotek, Farmers Insurance, Hager Marketing Group/Zrii, Los Angeles County Fire Department, Macy’s Inc., Modern Oak Interior Design Inc., Sam’s Club, The Signal and many more will be at the event conducting mini interviews with potential employees.
Dress professionally and make sure to bring plenty of resumes.
Visit the Career Services Center on campus during open office hours for assistance with your resume, for tips on interviewing, and for general advisement.
Career Services is open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday at the Valencia campus, and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Wednesday at the Canyon Country campus.
