The Bridgeport Market Place and Awesometown are anticipating the first annual Gourmet Food Truck Festival this Saturday, October 16th, from 5-9 pm. The festival is open to the public and there is no cost to attend, but the food trucks will only be accepting cash. Pets are not allowed at the event, but appetites are more than welcome! Event coordinators are expecting large crowds and long lines, so get there early!
Attendees will get the chance to try gourmet food from all over the world, practically. Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Indian, Italian, Mediterranean, and of course, good ole American comfort food will be available. Self proclaimed “Truck Wrangler” and event coordinator for Cluster Truck Events, Jann Rowe expressed, “We are excited to bring 22 of LA’s most amazing food trucks to Awesometown’s Gourmet Food Truck Festival. We are anticipating over 3,000 people to attend.” Some of the gourmet food trucks that will be in attendance include, The Border Grill Truck, The Dim Sum Truck, The Sweets Truck, Sprinkles, and Fresh Fries, just to rattle off a few.
Rowe also stated, “The food truck craze is hot and getting hotter.” So bring your wallet, your family and your appetite to Saturday’s Gourmet Food Truck Festival at the Bridgeport Market Place, on the corner of McBean Parkway and Newhall Ranch Road.
