NEW TO THEATERS: September 17th 2010

M Knight Shamalan brings us Devil the story A group of people trapped in an elevator, a series of events happens and they soon realize that the devil is among them. Rated PG-13

Alpha and Omega
For more family fun fair we have Alpha and Omega 3D, this is the story of Two young wolves at opposite ends of their pack’s social order who are thrown together into a foreign land and need each other to return home, but love complicates everything. Of note Dennis Hopper voiced the character Tony in this film before his death earlier this year

Easy A
Easy A stars Emma Stone as Olive, A clean-cut high school student who relies on the school’s rumor mill to advance her social and financial standing. Amanda Bynes stars as well in this sure to be teen favorite, rated PG-13

The Town
Rounding out this weeks new releases is the Town. This one stars Jeremy Renner of Hurt Locker Fame and Ben Affleck who plays a longtime thief planning his next robbery as He tries to balance his feelings for a bank manager connected to one of his earlier heists, as well as the FBI agent looking to bring him and his crew down. Rated R

NEW to DVD & Blu-Ray
This weeks new releases are all getting the Blu-Ray treatment

First we have One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest Deluxe Edition, this 1975 classic starring Jack Nicholson won 5 Oscars including Best Picture, Best Director and Best Actor for Nicholson, and Best leading Actress for Louise Fletcher who plays Nurse Ratched a woman more dictator than nurse

Up next we have the long awaited Lord of the rings Trilogy finally on blu-ray. Enjoy Frodo Baggins and the other members of the fellowship of the ring in high definition as they attempt to destroy the one ring and bring down the evil sauron and his minions. The deluxe edition includes all three films in high definition, tons of extras and digital copies of all three films for on the go viewing

Last all you GLEEKS will be excited to pick up the complete season one of Glee on DVD and Blu-ray. This is loaded with extras including Glee Karaoke, a McKinley High Freshman Orientation video and video diaries by the cast members.
