There are so many responsibilities when it comes to being a parent. They balance their children’s lives before they know how. Moms and dads make trips to the store, pick up kids from school and practice, and make sure a meal is on the table. All this while balancing their own lives. Moms seemingly face the brunt of this pressure head on. Mom is always there for you. Not to say that Dad isn’t, but you feel more comfortable going to Mom.

But sometimes she needs time to herself and enjoy a night out with friends.

SCV Moms Blog celebrated the second annual National Moms Night Out in Santa Clarita. Local moms had a chance to let their hair down, have a great meal (cooked by someone else, of course), and enjoy the company of friends.

Of course, Mom duties always come first. Those that couldn’t make it out had the chance to join in on the fun via webcam or through chat rooms.

SCV Moms Blog can be found on the web and Facebook.

The group plans on more events like this soon.
