The seventh annual KHTS Home and Garden show took place over the weekend drawing in thousands of Santa Clarita residents and set the record for most vendors.
It started off with speeches from Carl Goldman and Scott Wilk and a performance from the Santa Clarita Children’s Choir.
The KHTS Home and Garden Show consisted of a record setting amount of vendors at just over 400, making it one of the biggest home and garden shows in the Santa Clarita Valley.
Each year KHTS opts to do better and better and even changed venues this year from the Hyatt Regency Valencia to Central Park to make room for all the vendors.
With so many vendors participating there was something to attract the interest of everyone who attended.
The Emergency Expo was there to teach individuals about safety and what to do when in an emergency situation, and a demonstration of the Jaws of Life from the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
For the children there was a rock climbing wall and a play area to keep them entertained and involved in the show.
Those interested in keeping our earth clean and healthy were able to find new ways of doing so at the Earth Day/ Arbor Day Festival which the city hosts every year being incorporated for the first time this year.
The Home and Garden Show had a great turnout this year with thousands of people heading to Central Park to participate and the planning for next year has already begun.
