The COC anthropology department and club along with the civic engagement committee hosted a cultural event in the Honor Grove Monday, Nov. 21. Two large traditional American Indian huts were placed on the grass in the center of the Valencia Campus. COC anthropology department had them brought in from Wyoming, and the school now owns them for future use.

The event featured three guest lecturers, two of which were from American Indian tribes. Anthropology students brought in authentic food from different regions where American Indian tribes are located.
