Wheelchair sports festival set for SCV

The 5th Annual Wheelchair Sports Festival will be on Saturday April 30 and Sunday May 1 at the Santa Clarita Sports Complex where there will be 10 sports that are open to the public to participate.

The sports will include wheelchair hockey, basketball racquetball, baseball, hand cycling and much more. There will also be a resource fair and art workshop.

The Triumph Foundation is a non profit organization who helps individuals with overcome a  spinal cord injury and inspires them to keep moving forward with their lives by pushing people to feel better every day.

The Triumph Foundation has touched the lives of over 4,000 people with disabilities, many of which people don’t see.

The 5th Annual Wheelchair Sports Festival is free to the public and runs 9:00am to 5:00pm both Saturday and Sunday.
