Heroin Symposium this Tuesday

A program designed to curb heroin use in the Santa Clarita Valley is scheduled for this Tuesday evening at the Santa Clarita Activity Center.

The symposium will feature a few speakers including a recovering addict, a drug recovery counselor, parents of addicted Santa Clarita youth as well as representatives from law enforcement and health care.

Austin spent two years in the GVTV television production class at Golden Valley High School — one year on the staff and one year as the student producer.
