COC Career Services and Job Placement Center offers Free “How To” Workshops

VALENCIA, Calif. – Finding a job in the middle of a recession is incredibly difficult.

The unemployment rate is up, no new jobs are being created and employers aren’t hiring. So how does one stand out in front of the crowd?

The College of the Canyons Career Services and Job Placement Center is offering many workshops throughout the fall in order to help people find jobs. The workshops will be held throughout the months of September, October, and November, and are designed to help jobseekers develop the skills needed to find and maintain their chosen career.

Below is a complete list of all the workshops being offered.

All workshops are open to the public and free of charge. Seating is limited and on a first come, first serve basis.
