Nestled between skyscrapers on 9th and Figueroa St., The Original Pantry Cafe has been serving Downtown Los Angeles a delicious diner experience since 1924.

Breakfast is served all day, and classic American lunch and dinner menus are also offered later in the day.

Despite the long line and busy atmosphere, The Pantry Cafe's service is impressively fast and friendly. Piping hot coffee was promptly brought to the table only minutes after being seated.

The meal did not disappoint. The fluffly eggs, abundance of bacon and sausages, and mountain of potatoes leave one more than satisfied--not to mention more than stuffed.

Since it's opening, the Los Angeles monumental business (currently owned by former Los Angeles Mayor Richard Riordan) has only been closed once, and boasts the slogan, "We never close. We're never without a customer."

The Original Pantry Cafe is located on 877 South Figueroa St. Los Angeles, CA. 90017.
