New MacBook Pro retina announced

Apple showed off its 13-inch version of the retina MacBook Pro today, featuring a 2560 x 1600 pixel display, slightly smaller than its 15 inch model.


The new features present in the 13-inch retina model is largely similar to the 15-inch model, coming with a MagSafe 2 charging port, two Thunderbolt ports, 2 USB 3.0 ports, and headphone jack, HDMI out and a SDXC card slot.

Apple claims that the batteries will last roughly 7 hours of normal use.

The 13-inch MacBook Pro with retina display starts at $1699 featuring a 2.5GHz dual core i5 processor, 8GB of RAM, and 128GB of flash storage. As always, it can be built to order to a variety of higher specifications.
