People are coming to the Santa Clarita Valley Westfield Mall for a variety of reasons. “We came to the new Apple store to get our stuff fixed as we live in Lancaster” said Marcia Laney.
FBI rates Santa Clarita 6th safest city nationally
With over 100,000 people in Santa Clarita, located about 35 miles northwest of downtown Los Angeles is rated by the FBI the sixth safest city in the United States. “Oh Absolutely I feel safe here and I like to bring my triplet boys here to walk around, shop and also go to restaurants,” Avo Soltanion added. Santa Clarita was incorporated in 1987 combining the communities of Canyon Country, Newhall, Saugus, and Valencia. Communities that border Santa Clarita are Stevenson Ranch, Agua Dulce and Castaic.
Brand Names Bring the Customers
Shoppers were asked why they chose Malls over Supercenters. “Well definitely Wal-Mart and Target are cheaper but there’s no brand names at the Wal-Mart’s or Targets’ so all the brand names are here so obviously they’re going to get more business” Tera Mckelvey commented.
Westfield hosts a variety of shops inside as well as outside with the strolling walkways lined with water fountains where you will find children playing and helping their mother’s pull the strollers along with brother or sister safely sleeping.
Spend the Day at the Mall
You will find all ages shopping at the Westfield Mall, and all ages at the food court which hosts a variety of vendors from Pizza to Corn Dogs. One can literally spend an entire day just trying to walk from one end to the other. All in all, this reporter found happy faces on just about everyone there.
