Political cartoonist Paul Conrad, whose work is on display at the COC Art Gallery, died at his home in Palos Verdes on September 4th. Conrad was a Pulitzer Award winning cartoonist who spent the majority of his career at the Los Angeles Times.

The timing of his passing increased the significance of his exhibit on the campus, as he was already a legend in the industry. Conrad’s work will be on display at the COC Art Gallery until the end of the month, and there will be a round table discussion at the gallery on Wednesday, September 22nd at 1:30 p.m.
