Vendors from all over the Antelope Valley as well as the Los Angeles County are here in the city of Santa Clarita for the annual festival of the arts event. This is a two day event that is held the first weekend in October. It features a number of artisans and this year’s highlight is entitled the Process of Art.

Over the course of two days you can watch artisans actually working in the mediums of street painting. You can see visual, digital, and multimedia artists doing what they do best from the beginning concept to the final masterpiece. You can see woodcarving, pottery, and air painting.

There will be live entertainment, as well as fine arts and craft vendors. This is a free event and opened to the general public. The festival starts at 9am and ends at 6pm. So if you are looking to get a jump on your Christmas shopping this year, this festival is the place to get it done. For more information on the festival or how you can become a vendor at an event such as this, please log onto the city’s website www.scfestivalofthearts.com
